SPARTA SPARTA!! =D

Today is a busy yet fulfilling day! I had half day of work in the morning till early afternoon. I shall introduce to you one of my DEAREST "collegues", Mr Tay Leng Kian. This is how he looks like. He never fails to amuse me with his "CHILD-LIKE-NESS" which he proudly proclaims. And Look at the shawl, suits him PERFECTLY. lol.

Last week in the camp, right after fright night, we ended around 5am and all of us were so tired. Then, we all slept for 2 hours and woke up at 7am. The moment i went to check with my handphone when i woke up i was like "WAHHH!!!" Got a ghostly picture of him as my wallpaper!! The night before we were still having our fright night remember???! I was really shocked can!!

Today, he did the same thing again when i wasn't around! This time even worse, with a much scarier pic of himself! I shall not reveal that particular pic here, or not he really can't get a gf!

After work, i went down to chung cheng. I taught social studies, maths and english. It was good to teach =D But i can never be a teacher as my career. lol

After that, I met up with my fave SPARTA!!

We ate ate Cafe Cartel :) Seafood platter, but i prefer the one at Manhanttan Fish Market!! the best! 2nd is Fish and Co.

Garden!

I came back from work some while ago. I was tired. lol. Ever since the clock ticked at 8pm, i'm totally shut down. Start to stone already.

Anyway, even though it has been a few days since the NUS NTU Camp ended and i said in my previous entry that i will share my reflections. Yanghong even reminded me this morning!

I felt really blessed by this camp. It's a quality camp. Even though the numbers are not massive, not like "WOAH..300 participators"those kind, it has been an unforgettable camp! We started planning since 1 month ago and i'm really thankful i get to work with many cgls, women and men of vision. From them, i get to learn a lot of stuffs. Like from Changhan (he's our Nus ic) he's someone who is very patient, optimistic and he really persevere till the very very end! A few others like Howard, quanhan, lips, liwei, yuantai etc..they really put in a lot effort. It's really those blood and tears de lo. There are a few days we all stayed in school till 2 am plus and the gentlemen still drove each and every one of us home. End up they only reached home like 2 hours + later than we did :) And the NTU main comm friends are very on too. They came down to NUS, did dry run with us and stayed with us till the very end too.

Through this camp, i really get to know many friends who are special and unique :) I'm felt so blessed that i don't know how to use words to describe it.

It was the process of preparing the camp that enlarged my capacity. It was hectic. Every morning, the moment i wake up and every night before i sleep, i would be calling people up, doing the administrative work. Mr kenneth who is in the land of koalas and kangaroos, always ask me what i'm doing and i'm always doing the admin and he's like, "Why everytime i talk to u, u're always doing admin??!!!" Lol.

And the Word that Bro Darren shared is fantastic. He spoke about King David fulfilling the purpose that God has for him in his generation. Furthermore, only the minority will be the ones fulfilling it. The minorities will be those who are faithful, loyal and full of perseverance..:) I was blown away. Do i want to be the minority doing something great for God in my generation. I do :)

My first!

Today is the first time I'm taking cg meeting :) haha it was..hmmm..exciting. I prayed a lot before the day comes. I gotta rely on the strength and move of God instead of my own! It's a combined cg meeting and almost all of the cell group members are young working adults and i was the youngest (including yp and gab) there, sharing the Word. The last time i preached in front of many people was last year, during SOT preaching test! After that cg, i heaved a sigh of relief and Boonkiat gave me feedback :)



After cg, we all went to work. I started working for Boonkiat, for his exhibition suntec on friday! It's actually for the Garden Fest whereby architects, landscapers, developers etc will come all over Asia for this event. Other than both of us, still got Lengkian, Francis and Justin. It's interesting. haha at least we have companions to play with when there's no client around. Boonkiat and Francis are the 2 bosses while the 3 of us are employed by them periodically for exhibitions. We did it for them together 1,2 years ago too!

NUS NTU CAMP!! WHOO!!!

I just broke camp on Wed evening! I've to say, this camp is superb! Compared to last year's camp, there are many new element of excitement and surprise! and this is the 1st year we've NUS- NTU combined camp!! =D We get to know many new friends from both schools! Even though i know most of things that are going to happen, coz i've been through the dry- run, but still, it's very fun when i'm actually playing it in the camp! haha i guess, this has to to contribute to the main comm's effort and also, my OG, SPARTA!!

"SPARTA, gatherrrrr!! have fun! have fun! have fun! have fun! Have fun!!!!" we will continue chanting till all our group member gathers LOL.

I get to know many interesting people! and of coz, the OGLs, Weiliang and Jean who are very merticulous and caring :) And our cheer leader, Ching Seng! He taught us many Anti-climax cheer LOL. LIke " 1! 2 ! 3! Ba Chor Mee Auntie!!" or "1! 2! 3! Bak Ku Teh!" lol we will just shout all of sudden.

Day 1

We are based in NUS and we had our station games. Initially, it was abit awkard as we don't really know one another. However, i just felt everyone is making an effort to make everyone else feel comfortable and welcome :)

At night, we had our fright night! lol..I didn't act as ghost this time but i acted as the Crying girl who has lost a precious photo of the best friend who got killed. I was allocated at the SDE basement staircase and i got to cry for 20 times coz there're 20 + pairs ! haha but many people has said my crying act is v good! lol..so it's worth it..

Shall upload my crying stunt video. Other ghosts like Lengkian, Dixon really v admirable. They were in the tunnel and it's really v deep inside, with little oxygen and space. So, they decided to have a party by themself there! lOl they brought drinks and snacks! However, i think got a few times when the group has come in, both of them forgot to keep their snacks.

Keewei was like "WAH...how come there're potato chips here???" lol and he went on to take a few and munch on. LOL

Quite a few girls cried and some of the guys were freaked out. 2 of the guys told me they've heart disease and asthma, and they can't take it and they were panting like mad.. =X so i was like.."Ok...better not risk their lives" And i let them turn back.

We ended everything at 3am and we slept at 5am.

Day 2

We woke up at 7am and we proceed on to go to NTU!!!

YOOOHOOO!! this is our 2nd day in NTU !! haha This is about my 4th time into NTU. haha I have to say, NTU IS BIG! I can get lost there! Anyway, Here is some of my group members, SPARTA!!

Amazing race starts!! It's very tiring! haahhaa from NTU, we went back to NUS, then go back to NTU again! From clementi, we wanted to take Bus 96, When we're running towards the Bus interchange, Bus 96 has just left!

Geraldine was like, "Let's run to the first bus stop to catch that bus!!" and all of us just ran to the first bus stopp!! it's a 500 m sprint!! and u know me, my stamina is really lousy.ChingSeng offered his arm and i just grapped him and he pulled me, lol I'm really very lang2 bei4 lo!! We managed to get the bus!! And i'm like panting like mad when we managed to get on the bus

AFter amazing race, all of us are so bonded together that we get so high!! Everything also cheer!!

"Take picture!! Take picture!! Take Picture!! Take Picture!...!!" And we just continue on and jump on the spot like some crazy people! Lol

On the night! we had a "secret mission". While the rest are at their SP (secret Pal) dinner, some of us, stayed in the LT to help out in the game "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. We acted as the terrorists.

Howard was debriefing the rest and suddenly, he received a phone call ( from one of us), saying that Changhan saw sth and then, he fell down the stairs! And Howard asked them to stand up and pray for CH. Then..suddenly! the LT room went completely Dark. And we charged in with the weapons in our hands! haha and the game follows!

Changhan is super cute and funny hahaa! all of us agreed on that! He's the commander!

AFter cleaning up, our OG went out for supper...at 3,4am??? haha We stayed till 5am.haha our dear OGL, Weiliang fell asleep while sleeping!!! He was eating his prata and while with his prata in his hands, he fell asleept! lOl

then we headed back to NTU ADM building.



It's a very very very long walk from the supper place to NTU as it is situated outside the school. It took us around 30 mins to reach the ADM building. During our toilet break, some of them can't take it while waiting for us from the toilet. So this is what they did. lol







YEah, this is the ADM building!! We went to the top of the slope and slept on the narrow pathway!!
