Today's service is simply awesome! Pastor preached about forgiveness and when he gave a 5 questions quizz, i got 1 F and 4 T. 5T is the worst..coz it means that you have a wrong perception of forgiveness that is not in line with the bible. And i got 4/5 T!! Anyway, it doesn't matter now, because after the preaching, i really get to know what real forgiveness is!
Real forgiveness is unconditional.
Forgiveness doesn't minimize the seriousness of the offense.
Forgiveness isn't resuming a r/s without a change.
Forgiving isn't forgetting what has happened.
And lastly, forgiveness isn't my right when i wasn't the one hurt!
I guess, no matter who are we, there will be times when we're hurt by what has happened; a cirumstance, or even what people speak. On the other hand, there are times when we are the one hurting others. Forgive if we're the victim, and for the offender, please geninuely seek forgiveness..never ever say, "I didn't mean what I say." Because if you don't mean it, then don't say it out in the first place. haha okay...it sounds so serious now.
After service today, we all went to have lunch and went to Mind's Cafe. It is my first time going to Mind's Cafe. I have to say it's quite fun! haha but expensive! Every minute we spend there is being charged! After an hour or so, Dwayne Liangwei and I left first. Then we all went to the National library to retrieve Dwayne's childhood memory lol..the last time he went to borrow books was when he is sec.1!!! haha after Dwayne went home, left Liangwei and I. As we have our own appointments later in the evening, we hung out together until it's time for us to leave. We went to starbucks. And it's real hot. We were really quite tired. and we just sat on the sofa, facing each other and STONE. LOL. really. i think our brains are not working practically, we don't know what we are talking already. I cannot stand the atmosphere, so I asked if he's hungry ( but we just had our lunch) haha and he said YES. and so am I. So we went to eat at foodcourt and thank God! after consuming his indo chicken rice and my beef noodle, our brains started working once again! hahaha we talked about so much things that we nearly forget the time to leave! He went to his ah ma's place and i went to Changi Airport to meet my friends.
My Nus friend, Deborah is leaving for Netherland for exchange. haha so after waiting for some time, I met up with Rachel, Grace and Joseph and we all came and talked to Deborah for a while. She has a lot of friends coming to send her off!!! Really a lot. hahaha the place is like so packed because so many of us are there. As there are too many friends, she went to each group to talk to them, end up for quite a while, the 4 of us are faded into the background hahaha so we decided to take photos of ourselves and having fun on our own haha anyway, i will certainly miss deborah. :) She's really a very genuine, sincere and caring friend. Someone who is so gentle-spirited.

This is Chris! Our friend. haha i did a southeast asia project with Deborah him and he's really nice! i stil remember there's this day where 3 of us are squashed inside a .05mx1.2m ( i think so!) cubic! * the cage at central library where people go in to pick up call. the 3 of us mo4 mo4 de sit inside there for 4 hours! I was like "HELP!" but none of us dare to say it LOL..
