HAPPY PRE 21ST BIRTHDAY GABRIEL!!!

Gabriel is my very good friend!! He's one of the most patient friends i ever have hahaha Today, Grace, Sandra and I wanted to have personal steamboat dinner with him! All along from 2 days ago, he thought he's meeting me to have bs LOL. Until we stepped into "tian tian steamboat", then he realized, yeah, we're not having bs!! but a Feast!!

Anyway, We had the ma2 la4 and pork rib soup base! the pork rib soup base is fantastic! i love it. However, the ingredients there like not very fresh lei.. lol.. the prawn's head is like dropping off those kind =S. I probably won't go there a 2nd time.

After eating the steamboat, all of us were full!! BUT, there's still full of dessert!! SO....we went to bugis street for DURIANSSS!!!!

And us!! =D We bought 2 durians. Actually is $8 each. But the owner gave discount, so 2 for $15.

I was like.."Uncle, can cheaper ma????"

He turned and looked at me, "What you call me???!!"

I was like OPPS! lol

"I mean Shuai ge la!"

He's really quite young la, around 30+ lol. I was like..diu Lian.....

i realized we didn't have a picture where all the 4 of us are in!!

After our dessert, Grace left and 3 of us went down to Cityhall to look for Sean. He's flying off early morning on Sunday so today will be the last day we will be seeing him. I will miss this dear friend of mine!

And of coz! We must do our last 10 lian1 pai1 before he leaves!!!! Gabriel even tries to run away when we say we're doing it! lOL luckily Sean caught him back!

I thank God for friends like Gabriel and Sean. We played a lot together but ultimately, friendship is not just about playing or fun, it is giving comfort and assurance and being there just for him/her.

Those were the times!

I went to Chung Cheng High for a mentoring programme ytd. The students there were so young and so innocent- looking. The girls had their skirts up to their knees and some even tied plaits. The boys are sweaty all over, wearing their spectacles and with their socks high up. :) Those were the times. I was reminded of the time i was like that too! I went past my sec sch Bukit Panjang Govt High last week and I just felt a surged of emotions coming up. However, the appearance of the school has changed. It is undergoing massive renovation. I was like , "Sigh..how come all my school looked different now...Qihua Primary, BPGHS and even SAJC." haha but i really had so much fun during my school days! I was quite toot-looking i think! my hair is always messy and i wore specs! My skirt was long initially but as my secondary level increase, the length of skirt starts to decrease too. lol. My socks were quite high! coz that time's fashion is high sock! We were trendy ok! haha. and of coz! my big bag! =D Wells, sometimes when i looked back at my sec. sch photos, i was like "WAH! last time i looked like that!!" haha. I hope it's from glory to glory ya!

Someone asked me, "If God asks you to "Go!" (run), will you Go? God already says "Go!", Will you Go??"

I nodded my head :)

I may not know where is it but i know God will be waiting for me at the finishing line and He will be my greatest cheerleader! =D

This 2 days!

This is what i've been doing this few days in the day!
On Tuesday, we all went to NTU and i tell you..maybe you don't need me to tell, you also know..NTU is HUGE!! It's like..never ending way lo!! We're preparing for our NUS-NTU combined camp that is on the 21st- 23rd July! haha Let's have a glimpse!

TOM YAM SOUP!!! muahahahah

It tastes really quite good! hahaha i love it!

It's easy to cook too!!

Ingredients include my favourite Sotong, Prawn, Golden Mushroom, Abalone Mushrom and Fishball. And the addition spices require is half a stalk of lemon grass and 2 limes! And the most important, the soul of the tom yam soup is....definitely the Tom Yam Paste la!!! haha

Try cooking it next time! perhaps can share with me too! =D

I knew her since i was JC1. We're in the same Jc. However, we were in the same secondary school too!! We knew each other's existence but we didn't really know one another. She only know me as the girl who always go to toilet and i know her as the Malay-Chinese girl :) hee. Anyway, thank God our paths crossed!! And there are so many memories that we all shared :) The laughter, joy, comfort that she brought to me is indescrible. I'm really glad that we all still remain as close friends till today!!

i stayed at her house for around 2 hours, then i left to go to Amelia's party!!

hahaha amelia's place is cool lo!! got disco light and good music..! Felt like dancing the moment i stepped into her place! lOL. Anyway, this is pretty amelia!! I know her for 8 years ok!! She's my neighbour for 4 years in secondary school! Every year, we would just sit together!! haha We eat, we study, we play, we go toilet, all together!! And of coz, our most memorable ah neh rice with mushroom!! we never fail to run down from classroom every time the recess bell rang!

Anyway, Amelia's relatives are all multinational and multi-racial !!. Got american, eurasians, Malay, Chinese etc. I was like..Cool! and all her small little cousins are sooooo CUTE!!! coz they're mixed blood=D

Frankly, i'm tired running about today! lol..BUT it's worth it!!!

HELLO CHEUK!!
This is my friend, Cheuk! She's awesome i tell you! I 'm inspired by her faithfulness and fruitfulness :) haha we all, the same KTV gang went to sing Kbox and she just touched down from Hongkong on that day itself. She went back to Hongkong after her college education, so she's now back here for holis! :) We all sang from 8pm to 2 am lo!! and still went for supper after that. By the time i reached home at 4pm, i was like STONE. Actually i started stoning at 1,2am already. But the rest are like still so energetic!!

Recce!!

Today few of us, Changhan, issac, Quanhan, Lip Ywee, Ksoon LIang and I went back NUS to go recce the various places! I mean..i 've been in Nus for 2 years, yet there are so many places i haven't been to! and this is my first time! LIke..some rooftops at some fac, some secret doors at some buildings..lol..anyway we took like 6 hours to recce in School!! It was quite tiring i have to say. din know sch can be that big. While the rest are "Sightseeing" and taking pictures of the "scenery", let me zhi lian a while!



While we are having our lunch, we totally collapse at the dining table. And my dear friend, Quanhan, wanna show off his artistic flair! LOL He drew me as a ghost CAN. initially still wanna say i'm a big head ghost!! roars! but i insisted on a change of title =D

And...He drew my family portrait!! haha

At Home! :)

I STAY AT HOME THE WHOLE DAY TODAY!!
I used to yearn to stay at home to slack but when i really do so, i feel -_-" i mean it's not a bad thing afterall. but if this carries on for another 1,2 days, i will be so suffocated! I did compilation of namelist and in the afternoon, I wanna practice my guitar, however, when i tried to tune it, i rather keep my hands off it. lol. afterall the strings have been unchanged for 10 years. Don't know if it will break =P So, i turn to my another object of interest. My piano. I played hati Hamba and I surrender all. It sounds good, coz i'm the only one hearing it LOL. I tried to sing and play at the same, but i simply can't multitask. I asked my dad to help me listen, end up i'm playin the piano and talking the lyrics out LOL.

I gave bs ytd and today. Yesterday i met up with Charmaine and Yen separately. Both of them are just adorable lol. I smsed them the place and time to meet to remind them. And they both sms me that they wanted to meet at certain places coz they've carvings LOL. So i ate 2 meals for dinner. Soup Spoon and Gelare. A bit noisy though. But one of them treated me. So..FINE...! Lol.

Something good is happening!! I'm meeting a special guest this friday evening!!! :) remember our date! =D
